Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CopySite (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

CopySite is an AI website generation and delivery service. It uses coding agents in isolated sandboxes to turn prompts, public URLs, and screenshots into editable website and web application source code. The product workflow includes project creation, chat, file editing, preview, logs, snapshots, restore points, publish status, export packages, and optional GitHub handoff. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

Free Allowance, Credits, and Upgrades

New users may receive starter credits and a free allowance for up to two active CopySite projects. Generations, URL captures, screenshot builds, restores, exports, and delivery actions may consume build credits depending on the plan and feature. Credits may be reserved before a run starts; when an eligible run fails, the reserved credits are refunded automatically. If your free allowance or credits are exhausted, CopySite may block additional project creation and show an upgrade, archive, or manual credit recovery path.

Paid plans are billed in advance for the selected billing period and include the credits, limits, seats, and support level shown on the pricing page or in your order. When live checkout is unavailable or missing merchant credentials, manual upgrade requests may be routed through support and fulfilled by an administrator credit grant. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis unless required by law.

BYOK and Provider Credentials

If you bring your own AI key or provider credential, you authorize CopySite to validate and use that credential for the generations you request. You are responsible for your provider account, provider costs, rate limits, and any provider policy violations caused by your use. Remove or rotate credentials if you no longer want CopySite to use them.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Submit private websites, credentials, secrets, regulated data, customer data, or third-party materials you are not authorized to process.
• Use CopySite to impersonate another brand, mislead visitors, or publish deceptive copies of third-party sites.

Generated Content and Ownership

You own the source code that CopySite generates from your inputs, subject to the rights of any third-party materials you provide. Generated code, previews, exports, snapshots, and GitHub handoff files are provided "as is". You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and legally clearing the output before using it in production. We claim no ownership over your generated projects.

Cloning and Intellectual Property

When you ask CopySite to rebuild or approximate a site from a URL or screenshot, you confirm that you have the right to use that source. CopySite is intended to create original, editable code that captures comparable layout, interaction, and design direction. It is not a license to copy protected third-party assets, text, trademarks, trade dress, private pages, or copyrighted material verbatim. You are solely responsible for ensuring that anything you generate, publish, export, or hand off to GitHub does not infringe third-party rights.

Publishing, Export, and GitHub Delivery

CopySite may help you publish a generated site, export a source package, or prepare a GitHub delivery. You are responsible for connecting the correct hosting, repository, domain, analytics, payment, and compliance settings before public launch. CopySite does not guarantee that generated code will meet every accessibility, performance, legal, SEO, security, or platform-review requirement without your review.

Intellectual Property in the Service

The Service itself — its software, original content, features, and functionality — is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This does not extend to the code you generate, which is yours as described above.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, including for damage caused by deploying generated code you have not reviewed.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the Service.
